SATYRICON: New Audio Interview With SATYR Available

HeadbangersBlog.com conducted an interview with frontman Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven of the Norwegian black metal band SATYRICON on January 15, 2009 prior to the first show of the group's North American tour with CRADLE OF FILTH. During the conversation, Satyr discusses how the band wrote and recorded its new album, "The Age of Nero", SATYRICON's desire to break in the U.S. market, the sorry state of the world, how isolation is conducive to personal growth and the video for "Black Crow on a Tombstone".

"The Age Of Nero", the new album from SATYRICON, entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 73. The CD, which was issued in Europe on November 3 via Roadrunner Records, was released in the U.S. on January 13 via Koch Records.
